This section is responsible for Essentials of Modern and Contemporary Chinese History, a course of ideological and political theories for undergraduates, and for training graduate students in Marxist theory of international relations, China’s foreign relations, international communist movements, and other directions. It specializes in researches on basic problems of modern and contemporary Chinese history, CPC history, Red Culture and local communist history of Gansu Province, theory and practice of scientific socialism, Marxist theory of international relations, China’s foreign relations, and Belt & Road international cooperation. The institution has 13 staff members.
